The name Kian came from a pen name I used for a magazine novel in middle school, so I kept it when I started making music. Since I've been using it for so long, people around me no longer call me by my real name, they just call me Kian.
But in 2020, I suddenly noticed some changes in my musical pursuits, and I suddenly seemed to get a clearer picture of what I really want my music to be. I started using the name zuho - it's a dialectal resonance of my real name, with an album sharp, sharp.
So the music that I made when I was called Kian was more like the sounds that happened to come out of that exploration. Some of it is cool, some of it is weird, some of it is even very vocaloid. But zuho's music has a weight to it, like it's telling a story.
